In October 2000, ROSBANK was one of the first Russian banks to offer private banking services to high net worth individuals. The initial customer base was formed by owners and top managers of its large corporate clients.

In order to meet the demands of this specific customer group, the Bank has developed a comprehensive package of tailor-made financial solutions. In addition to regular banking services, such as cash management, credit cards and deposits, the clients are offered a variety of investment programmes, supported by personal financial planning and advice, as well as a wide choice of travel, insurance, real estate and other products. All these products are designed in conjunction with the leading operators in the relative sectors.

Since the end of 2000, ROSBANK has managed to build up a strong reputation in this area and the total number of its Private Banking customers has grown to over 1,100 individuals, with their account balances exceeding US$690 million as of 31st December 2005. According to its own research, the Bank’s market share in this segment is estimated at 10-15%.

ROSBANK aims to expand this business line primarily by focusing on mid-level managers of its corporate clients and SME owners.
