ASSET MANAGEMENT
ROSBANK established asset management as a separate business line in mid-2002. The Bank offers its institutional and individual clients a choice of investment portfolios based on various risk-to-yield ratios, with a specific investment strategy assigned to each portfolio. The list of managed assets includes both cash and securities owned by the clientele of institutional investors and private individuals. The Bank’s research team extends its assistance in taking investment decisions by producing comprehensive reports on the economic environment, trends and developments in the domestic and international financial markets.
In July 2003, ROSBANK expanded its asset management capability through establishment of a specialised ROSBANK Asset Management Company (RAMCo) and acquisition of Yamal Investment Management Company.
The principal business activities of ROSBANK’s asset management group include the management of the following assets:
4 Mutual investment funds, diversified by asset portfolios as fixed income securities, money market instruments, real estate, mixed investments, and managed both on-shore and off-shore;
4 Reserves of non-government pension funds, insurance companies and other institutional investors
4 Pension savings and other assets of private individuals.
RAMCo operates in close cooperation with ROSBANK's team, backed by its expertise and business relations, while maintaining full independence in its investment decisions. The Company is now one of the most dynamic asset managers in the country, with over 9 billion Roubles worth of assets under its management. It operates 4 mutual funds and manages the assets of 5 non-governmental pension funds.
RAMCo is the market leader in private pensions having taken advantage of Russia’s pension reform, which provided an option for individuals to entrust a part of their pension savings to privately-owned managing companies. Currently, over 125,000 persons have part of their pensions savings managed by RAMCo.
